Walking Food, Wine & History Tour

The Sonoma Food, Wine & History Tour experience takes guests on a guided walking adventure of local eateries, all within the quaint surroundings of the Sonoma Plaza. Each delicious tasting is served from locally-owned and operated restaurants, tasting rooms & shops. You will explore Sonoma with a local guide, all while gaining knowledge about its history, culture and architecture, at the same time savoring the appetizing culinary selections. (Equivalent to a lunch).

  • When: Thursday to Saturday at 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

  • Duration: Approximately 3 hours

  • Cost for Public Tour: $159 per person (Th-Sat) Price will be higher on non-scheduled tour days

  • What’s Included: all food & beverages tastings (equivalent to a lunch) 

  • Food restrictions: We can accommodate most food restrictions, including vegetarian, gluten-free, with advance notice.

  • Sales Deadline: Tickets must be purchased 3 hours before the start of the tour

  • Tour Size: Small groups up to 10 people

  • Guests: Adults and all fitness levels (must be 21+ years old)

  • What to Wear: Comfortable weather-appropriate clothes and very comfortable shoes

  • What to Bring: Bottle of water, umbrella on rainy days, and cash for tour guide tip

  • Weather Conditions: Tour takes place light rain or shine (see FAQs for adverse weather)

  • Distance: 1.25 easy miles with plenty of stops
