“Girls Day Out - FUN”

I set this event up for my one of my girl who was celebrating her birthday. We are not the biggest wine people, so I thought a Food and Wine tour would be better than going to wineries. IT WAS PERFECT! It was a good mixture of food and drink. First stop, Italian super cute/fancy restaurant. We had pizza. It was really good, and it was paired with white and red wine. Then it was olive oil tasting (sound kinda gross at first) but it was amazing!!! Then wine/cheese tasting and Mexican food. The end was chocolate tasting (the ladies who runs the place were sooo fun). Overall, this trip was a blast. I want to redo it again with more people and during the summer since the menu will change. Mia was a great host and very informative. The trip was about 3 hours long. It didn't feel rush (except the William Sonoma Store/would have loved to spend more time looking around the store and for items to buy). The price for the trip and experience and quality of the places we went to was a great deal! Thanks, Mia!

“Perfect way to experience Sonoma food and wine”
Get a sense of the way Sonoma locals live. This tour is absolutely amazing and makes you feel a part of the community, not just a tourist. Mia does an amazing job of taking you to great Sonoma hot spots. It's the perfect variety. Food, cheese, chocolate, and, of course, wine. Great way to start your day with plenty of time left to explore. Amazing company too!

I have lived in Sonoma for 17 years, and from now on, I will send all of my guests on Mia's food tour because it sums up and serves up the best of our wonderful town. Whether you have a day or a week to spend in Sonoma, you must check out this tour. Awesome!

“A Perfect Day”
More than we expected! Mia was an excellent guide giving us a perfect blend of food, wine and local history. Being from Sonoma, she was able to answer our many questions and add wonderful local color. The walk was most enjoyable. We 6 ladies HIGHLY recommend.

“A Foodie's Dream”
My husband and I recently visited Sonoma for a wedding, and had a morning to fill before the ceremony. My husband is not a fan of wine, so the food tour was a great way for him to experience the food culture of Sonoma, and for me to taste some local wine.

Mia, our guide, was absolutely wonderful! A local to Sonoma, she knew all the fun facts about the town and its history, and of course, all the great places to eat. She even setup a little picnic in the town Plaza for our stop at the Sunflower Cafe. Groups are held to a maximum of 8, so it's always an intimate affair. We only had one other couple in our group and it was like spending a morning with friends.

The food was all top notch, the wine pairings outstanding, and the cultural experience a treat. My husband even found a wine that he enjoyed. :) I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

“Great day with Mia and the Sonoma Food Tour”
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with Mia in beautiful Sonoma. We loved hearing about Sonoma's rich history and tasting a wonderful sampling of foods from it's many restaurants. I only wish we had done it earlier in our trip so we could have visited some of the restaurants that were recommended.

Mia is a lovely woman, and we all agreed that her tour was a highlight of our trip!

Was visiting Sonoma for the first time and we wanted to do something that would help give us a borad experience into the food and wine of the region. This tour, simply put, is beyond terrific. Not only is it a great deal, you get to enjoy fantastic food, wine, olive oil, cheese and chocolate. What could be better?? NOTHING! Mia was warm, friendly and well versed in the local food and wine scene. The diversity of experiences on this tour really showcase her knowledge and experience. “Great Start to Wine Country”
The tour guide (Mia) was great -- very knowledgeable and personable. We did this tour on our first full day in Sonoma County. It was a great way to jump start our wine country get away. Highly Recommend. Travelled with my four sisters and the five of us all agreed it was the best.

“Fun and fulfilling food tour!”
Fabulous walking food tour in Sonoma! Mia was a wonderful host full of enthusiasm and education. I was impressed at how full I became after all of the stops! Great portions, wonderful food and wine with a really fun group of people to experience the tour with . We stopped at Girl & the Fig, Figone's Olive Oil ( I love that they have a olive oil club you can join!) Della Santina Enoteca ( amazing food and wine here!) where the owner came out to talk with us and welcome us. Enjoyed a great "Bee Hive" cake from Basque Boulangerie and did a yummy chocolate tasting at Wine Country Chocolates where we ended by picking out our own truffle. I highly recommend this tour!

“Awesome walking tour of downtown Sonoma!”
This walking tour was better than our group anticipate and was an excellent blend of food/wine/cheese indulgences with the rich history of Sonoma. Mia, our guide, is a wonderful hostess who took us to all the right places where we truly got to taste and touch all things good in town. The hi-light of the tour was the Depot hotel where we got to taste a specialty pizza made by one of the owners himself. Very special! I highly recommend this to anyone interested in talking a break from the traditional winery tours.

“It was time well spent.”
The tour was a fun experience to include in a weekend reunion of five girlfriends. Not only did we get to taste great food and wines, but Mia also included some history of Sonoma, its town square and its landmarks, all at a relaxing pace. Timing of the end of the tour gave us the opportunity to browse around some more and do some shopping.

What a wonderful way to see Sonoma's square and eat and taste wines of the valley. Mia is a terrific guide and even surprises you with the way she provides a picnic on the lawn. We thoroughly enjoyed spending the time with her and our small group. Do not miss this foodie experience if you are visiting Sonoma!

"The Best Thing in Sonoma!"
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2.5 hour walking food tour with Mia. It was a great way to learn some history of the town while sampling lots of wonderful food and wine. I have visited Sonoma several times but only this time did I really discover it. It is obvious that Mia takes pride in offering a quality tour. We would recommend it to anyone!

“Great tour in a great little town!”
My husband and I decided to be tourists for a day in our hometown, Sonoma, and booked a Sonoma Food Tour. So glad we did! We learned interesting historical facts about the beautiful Plaza, as well as it's buildings and surroundings. We stopped in places we never had before or dug deeper into ones we had. Tasting delicious foods, wines, cheeses, olive oils, vinegars and chocolates along the way. It was great to hear from the owners, chefs, sommeliers and dedicated staff members about their products, foodstuffs, local sources and businesses. All the while being lead by the lovely and knowledgeable Head Foodie, Mia! We can't wait to tell friends and family about this tour when they visit, hopefully we can tag along!

An absolutely fabulous experience!
We visited six different vendors that offered a wonderful assortment of food and wine that showcase Sonoma. In addition to trying local dishes there were lots of opportunities to get to know some of the families that produce such quality ingredients/dishes. Mia was a great guide; she infused a wonderful combination of charm, enthusiasm and history throughout the four hour tour. This tour is a great value and a fun way to see and experience all that Sonoma has to offer. You will not be disappointed! This tour includes a brilliant arrangement of downtown Sonoma's choice offerings. It is cleverly created with the balance and range of tastes, fun and interesting facts. What better way is there to see such an amazing town?

What a super fun way to spend my Saturday!
Mia is a wonderful hostess and tour guide and she impressed me with her knowledge not only of the local foods and wines, but also Sonoma history! Where else can you sample first class California cuisine, locally made olive oils, cheeses, chocolates, and wine, stand on the spot where the California flag was first raised and pet draft horses on the way? I highly recommend this fun tour to anyone ready to be spoiled AND educated.

Never tried anything like this before.
We have never tried anything like this before but we really wanted to try something new so we bought tickets.  We met the small group (9) and our fun tour guide Mia and off we went.  We visited 6 places and tasted some amazing food, cheese, wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and dessert.  My husband does not drink so this is why we chose a food tour and not a wine tour.  Even though a couple of places offered wine, it was not something that he felt left out of.  We enjoyed the fact that it was a walking tour because we were able to see all the little shops along the way.  That way we knew what to come back for.  Everyplace treated us wonderfully. Mia was a wonderful guide.  She gave us facts about everything we saw and had a wonderful enthusiasm about her. I would certainly recommend this tour for anyone.

Loved this fun foodie tour.
The Depot Hotel, our first stop, was charming and beautiful and I loved the pizza made with bread dough and the paired wines. The chef was knowledgeable and loved learning about his family history and his family ties to the restaurant and Sonoma. Also learned how meat is cured! Enjoyed the cheese and chocolate tasting and learning all about the history of Sonoma and its landmarks from our knowledgeable tour guide Mia. All in all a truly fun, educational experience in a beautiful setting!

This is an exceptional walking tour!
The Sonoma Plaza is so beautiful and it was great to taste some local food and wine while learning about the history of the town. The "head foodie", Mia, really knows her stuff! We stopped at some fantastic restaurants and shops, all of which I will definitely visit again. Some of them I probably would have missed if I wasn't given the inside scoop from a local! All of the tastings were very good and plentiful. I even joined a wine club along the way! The three hours went by so fast, I was sorry when it came to an end! I will recommend this tour to all of my family and friends! Thank you!

My girlfriend and I did the Sonoma food tour with Mia. What a fun day. Mia was very informative. We made several stops as we ate our way around the Sonoma Plaza.  The food and wine was excellent. I grew up in Sonoma and now live in Santa Rosa. But this adventure was really worth it.  Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
